Truckers are taking a hit.

There’s some change of plans guys. We are now calling ourselves Aurify. It was a hard choice between Grow Yo Dough and Skip the Dip bro but we picked Door number 3. It’s supposed to have a fancy Latin name and meaning but you know us. Nothing can be farther from fancy than us. We are in the trenches, on the court, in the dugout.. right along there with you ;-)

Today we found.. US trade is shaky, New York real estate doesn’t make sense and Spotify is in the green. Let’s do a scan.

Source : FactSet

In light of reduced trade activity in the US, diesel prices are going down. Wholesale diesel recently fell from $5.34 to $2.65 a gallon in New York Harbor. Recent increase in interest rates has led to a drop in manufacturing activity and trade. After the Ukraine war began, commodity markets were affected raising diesel prices. Construction sites, heavy farm machinery, goods transport, port, rail yards, factories were all impacted as a result. Global trade and manufacturing production dropped 5.4% between September and January, according to the Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis. With drop in trade activity, the stocks for United Parcel Service fell by 10% as their earnings took a hit.

Sector Sweep

Platforms are trying to balance AI innovation and copyrights on a tight rope.

Real Estate

  • Bankruptcy of Bed Bath and Beyond has a silver lining. Many retailers are sitting in the wings waiting for primo real estate to open up as post bankruptcy they are looking to fill the void.

  • Manhattan rental real estate seems to be inversely proportional to general US real estate as rental prices keep increasing while they plummet in the rest of the country.

Transportation
